Legacy Village of Athens Welcomes Melissa Chupp to the Team as Executive Director

Athens, Ga. (Jan. 2026) — Legacy Village of Athens is pleased to announce Melissa Chupp as Executive Director. With a career rooted in senior living leadership, Chupp joins the Legacy Village team with over 9 years of management experience.
Originally form Baltimore, Maryland, Chupp attended Towson University for her degree in Communications and Public Relations. Chupp entered into the senior living industry in 2017 as a Director of Sales and Marketing. Since then, she has served in several capacities, including Director of Sales and Marketing, Community Relations Director and Executive Director. With her strong communication skills and natural discernment, Chupp is looking forward to joining the exceptional team at Legacy Village and continuing the work of building a community where residents, team members and family members feel at home.

Outside of work, Chupp finds joy in gardening, reading, kayak fishing and spending time with her husband and three grown sons. She also loves to travel and hopes to visit Alaska and Italy in the near future.
